Learn Japanese
by collecting it
Open a pack. Keep the cards. Review the ones you nearly know. Pack Lingo turns 2,037 Japanese words into something you actually want to come back to, and every single one is recorded so you learn it by ear as well as by sight.

How it works
-
01
Open a pack
Packs arrive daily. Tear one open and see what you pulled, foil and all. This is the part you will do without being reminded.
-
02
Keep what you pull
Every card is a real Japanese word with its reading, its meaning, a sentence that uses it, and a recording. Cards you own fill up a collection you can page through.
-
03
Review what is slipping
Cards come back exactly when you are about to forget them, and then less and less often. You do not plan the schedule and you do not maintain a deck.
Nineteen collections
Grouped the way you actually need words, not alphabetically. Start with Kana and Fundamentals, then go wherever your Japanese is heading.
What it does not do
- No ads. Not between packs, not anywhere.
- No tracking. No advertising identifier, nothing followed across other apps.
- No sign-up wall. The app works fully from the first launch. Link an account when you want your collection backed up.
- No date of birth stored. The age question is answered on your phone and the date is discarded before anything is sent.
- No streak guilt. Reminders are optional and local to your phone.
- Works on a plane. Cards and audio you have seen are kept on the device.
Pack Lingo is free to start. A subscription opens up the rest, and the price and period are always shown before you buy. You can read the terms and the privacy policy before you download anything.
